FEB 8 GAME

Mo-Kan Bridge is just getting started. NEXT GAME IS May 24, 2019!  (Use the back hallway to get to the playing space on May 24!)  Their first duplicate game was offered at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Lee’s Summit on Fridays, from 10:30 to 2.  There will be a variety of directors directing this game, but I will be the director for many of the games.  There will be both a novice section (for those with less than 50 masterpoints) and an open section, provided there are at least 3 tables per section.  If both sections cannot be run, then one combined open section with stratification will be played instead. Partners are guaranteed if you can’t find your own on any given day.  (This might mean you play with the director, in which case you would be playing in the open section.)  Lunch is provided.

Cost is $8 or less.  Please check out the Mo-Kan Bridge Academy website for details on costs and this game.

Kids Bridge

Oh, the people you’ll meet!

What is Kids Bridge?

I give the younger students a place to play bridge with others who are just starting out as well.  All the players have completed at least a beginning set of  lessons.  The purpose is to give them the opportunity to practice and to speed up their play.  It is free!  You just need to sign up ahead of time.  Parents are welcome to stay and watch!

After building up speed, for those who are comfortable with the idea, we plan to go play at some of the Duplicate Bridge Clubs in the area.

Summer 2019:

Saturday, July 27:   2:00-4:00  This will be run as a short lesson followed by a pupil game.  Masterpoints given.  For youth with less than 5 current masterpoints.

Call 816-237-0519 or e-mail to sign up and get directions.  This is usually held in my home, unless the numbers signing up require a larger space.

I will play duplicate with you at a local club. The cost for this varies from free to $30, as follows: Kid prices: First 4 times I play with you, I’ll pay my own entry fee. Next 4 times I play with you, you’ll need to pay my entry fee. Playing with you time # 9 and above, you pay my entry fee and $30.
